Btwn the Moon and the Heavens

So this is the cover design for my book which is out right now on authorhouse.com. It's called "Between the moon and the Heavens." For those of wondering what it's all about, it basically is in the same genre as Harry Potter and Twilight. However, it doesn't include vampires or Wizards. It is about werewolves and people who call themselves "Arc Angels" who in reality, are able to fly and talk to other Arc Angels telepathically. They are not actual Angels, it is just what they label themselves as.

Like I said, it's just come out. It is available for purchase on www. Authorhouse .com. You can either look up the title or my name Ashley N. Doute. Thank you if you buy one. It means a lot to me to start building a fan base and I need money so I can put out the second one.

My goal is to sell at least 85 copies of this book to reimburse myself for the money put into making this book. If I sell at least that amount, I will be putting the second book out there. It's a series and there WILL be 5 books. The last one is almost half-way done. The second is being typed up and the 3rd and 4th need to be typed.

Yes, I'm so excited. The other night, after a long day at work, I checked my email and discovered that it is available for purchasing through my publisher. They said in 30-45 days it should be on major bookstore websites such as barnesandnoble and borders.

Also, people keep asking me if it will be on shelves. The only way that would happen is if I go in and sell myself with my book in hand. The bookstores order them through their website. Is there anything you can do to help? YES! Go into the bookstores and ask them if they have my book in stock. Then, once they have my name and the name of my book fresh in their head, they wont forget it. Ask them if they would order some copies to put on the shelves because you wanted to purchase one. It's hard getting your name out there if you are only able to go to local bookstores. So, that is something you can do.

Hey, your book sounds interesting. Wish I had money to buy it DX I would if I could! Maybe I'll save up for it! thanks for the note! I'm trying to work on my own story, but it's a comic instead (manga or whatever :P )

Wow..that sounds cool. Keep at it. Who knows, maybe one day you'll make a book filled with comics. Just keep doing what you like to do and it will benefit you in the end.

Did I tell you that I got a call from a publisher yet? I'm publishing my book!!!! I can't wait. have some stuff I need to edit, but other than that I'm good! I'll let you know how it goes!
